What we will be missing out on this week:

- Gala Apples
- Red Grapefruit
Being box-less has brought the produce level in the house to a much more manageable amount. Especially the fruit! We finally have a normal about of oranges for 2 people. The biggest bummer in getting to this manageable level is from having to throw out produce that we didn’t get to in time, most of it fruit.
Tossing produce has made us more aware that we’ve done a lot of talking about how and what we want to eat but that we haven’t really changed our cooking habits yet. I am hoping that when we return to the box, we’ll have a better plan for changing our cooking habits. I think part of that will be creating a weekly menu built around the box. For this week’s menu we have most of the ingredients but we will need to go out and get few groceries.
So the menu for the week will be:
- Sat: dinner out with MJ and AF
- Chicken Curry
- Salad, Au Gratin Potatoes, and Chicken
- Stuffed Peppers
